Your Farmers
Meet Belinda
I never knew being a flower farmer was even a job when I left school. I grew up in a country town and headed off to the big smoke, hoping to build a good life. I worked hard, gave everything I had, and became very good at what I did — but over time, the pace took its toll. My mind and body were tired, and burnout quietly crept in.
Moving to Cedar Creek Farm changed everything. Life here has allowed me to slow down, to be outside with my hands in the soil, and to create a life that feels more balanced. It has given me more time with my family, precious moments shared in the garden with my mum, grandmother, and mother-in-law, and the joy of raising my children in a place where nature is part of everyday life.
Motherhood has deepened my love for the land and my desire to care for it. Each season reminds me of growth, patience, and letting things unfold in their own time. I am always learning, embracing the hard work of the farm, and feeling grateful as I walk out the door each day — for the space we are creating for our family, for others, and for generations to come.
What began as a simple wish to grow fruit and vegetables has gently grown into something much more meaningful: growing flowers for mental health. Cedar Creek Farm is a place for connection, play, and joy — where children can roam, adults can exhale, and everyone is invited to feel held by the beauty around them.
I’m also a lover of photography. After studying in Sydney, I now offer photography sessions on the farm, capturing honest moments of connection — families just as they are, held together by love, laughter, and the land.
Cedar Creek Farm makes me happy.
I hope it brings a sense of calm, joy, and belonging to you too

His success has always come from doing things properly — with care, integrity, and pride. He’s someone who is always willing to learn, adapt, and evolve in today’s ever-changing world.
Ryan’s love for flowers and gardens began in childhood. His mum, Barbara, was a well-known florist in her day, and his dad, Cliff — a retired professional fireman and lifelong gardener — passed down a deep respect for hard work and the land.
Farm life is second nature to Ryan. He has a lifelong love of animals and has shown, ridden, and even driven donkeys — both for fun and competitively. He was once president of a local carriage driving club, something I still smile about, amazed that someone my own age was out there driving carriages.
Above all else, Ryan loves seeing people enjoy Cedar Creek Farm and watching our children grow up on the land. His heart is in this place, and in the life we are building together.

Our Farm
What started as a simple idea — planting a few fruit trees and growing a veggie garden so we could feed our family, save a little money, and know exactly where our food came from — slowly grew into something much more. We realised how deeply flowers made us happy, and how working on the land brought us peace. From there, the dream shifted into growing flowers, caring for our farm with love, and sharing the joy and calm it brings with others.
When we first arrived, the farm was just a house with a pool and a run-down fence. There were old, weathered buildings and a pile of timber left behind where the sawmill once stood. Our neighbour Brenda shared memories of walking through the market garden as a child, picking fruit as she made her way to school. That same space is now where our own market garden grows, alongside our flower-picking field.
With a clear vision and inspiration drawn from the existing barn, we began reusing what the land had already given us. Old timber scattered around the property was carefully repurposed to build fences and create workspaces, honouring the farm’s past while shaping its future.
Today, our farm is a working farm once again — a place of growth, care, and connection. It offers an experience for people to enjoy the flowers, the animals, and the land around them, and to reconnect with themselves along the way. We love seeing families and guests enjoying the farm as much as we do, and sharing in the sense of joy, peace, and belonging it brings.
LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED.
